Jonathan has a broad practice encompassing corporate, commercial and insolvency disputes. He regularly advises companies, shareholders, office holders and corporate service providers on a wide range of matters.
His notable cases include:-
• Advising the former shareholders of a high profile sports club in a dispute involving interpretation of provisions in their Share Purchase Agreement.
• Representing the administrators of a PLC in a claim, including seeking a declaration as to the beneficial ownership of shares in various offshore companies and obtaining interim injunctive relief to restrain those companies and their shareholders from disposing of certain assets.
• Representing a major bank in a dispute as to the beneficial ownership of properties purchased with monies advanced by the bank but with imperfect security.
Jonathan is currently based in Jersey and is available for advisory and drafting work, remote hearings and trials. He is authorised to undertake work on a public access basis and also to conduct litigation.
He graduated from the University of Exeter, was called to the Bar in 2002 and is a member of Lincoln’s Inn.
